Red Oak Campground is nestled in the Scandia Mountains of Western Pennsylvania, abundant with forest and wildlife, and providing an opportunity to get away from the city life and back to nature. We have plenty of shady or open campsites for every style of camping. Most sites are level and many have full hookups. We also have tent sites for those who prefer roughing it. We offer full service facilities and a wide range of amenities for our guests. Campers appreciate how our modern, comfortable bathhouses are kept as clean as possible. Red Oak Campground offers complete facilities to make your stay as comfortable as possible. 30/50 amp, full hookups, partial hookups, pull thrus, WiFi, dump station, tent sites, restrooms, showers, laundry, fire rings, picnic area, clubhouse, playground, basketball, biking, hiking, horseshoes, volleyball, ping pong, ATV, store, propane, ice, game room, ice cream shop, bakery, cafe, jumping pad, mini-golf, and a heated swimming pool that is open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Don't forget to drop by our store for firewood, propane, groceries, those yummy baked goods, gifts and last-minute items. Our community pavilion hosts several of our planned events and is available for private rental for special occasions like graduation parties and family reunions. The facility offers a grilling pit and internal heating. Area Attractions: Allegheny National Forest, Panama Rocks Scenic Park, Lucy Desi Museum and Center for Comedy, Chapman State Park, Drake Well Museum, Warren County Fair, Conneaut Lake Park, Kinzua Sky Walk, and Zippo/Case Museum. Located close to 3 golf courses and 2 marinas (less than 2 miles).
Important Campground Notes
Open May 1st thru October 15th. Two nights minimum stay required to receive PA discount. PA is valid Sun thru Thursday only. PA cannot be combined with any other discount. Reservations recommended, must state PA at the time of making the reservation. Drive-ups welcome (please call ahead to check availability). Must present PA card at arrival for discount. PA discount applies to RV sites only. Check-in 2PM, Check-out 1PM. Parking for boats available. Credit cards accepted. Pets welcome. Dogs must be kept on leash. *Rates are for 2 adults and 2 children under 17, $7.50 for each additional person. Children 4 and under free.
Directions
From Warren, Pa area: Rt62 North through Warren to Hatch Run Road. Turn right onto Hatch Run Road to end. Turn left onto Scandia Road for 8 miles. From the North: Follow Interstate 86 (Old Rt 17) to Steamburg Exit No 17. Turn south towards Onoville, continue 2 miles past Pa State line.
