Highlights
105 total sites, sites are large and well spaced, which allows for all campers from tenters to big rigs with slides. All sites have 30 amp electrical service, 18 of which are 50 amp, picnic tables and fire ring. Water is available at bathhouses, dump station is available. In addition, Lakeside RV Park features ancient Indian mounds, ball diamond, concession stand (available for rental), picnic shelters, playground, a swim at your own risk beach, boat ramp, fishing, no wake boating, canoeing, and kayaking. Area Attractions: Located 56 miles from Madison and 14 miles from "House on the Rock", Springs Golf Course, American Players Theatre, and Franklin Lloyd Wright's "Taliesin" studio.
Important Campground Notes
Open April 15th through November 30th. PA discount is valid for 2 nights. PA discount is not valid during long holiday weekends. Park Office is closed from Friday at 5PM until Monday at 8AM (after-hours drop box available). Pets are permitted, but must be leashed and attended to when outside. *Rates: Water/Electric Sites $35, PA $17.50.
Directions
From US HWY 14: Take Hwy 130 south at Lone Rock, cross Wisconsin River, then turn right on Hwy. 133, and go 7 miles. Then turn right onto 6th Street, and follow the signs to the park. From US HWY 18: Take US Hwy 23 north at Dodgeville, turn left onto Hwy. 130, and take Hwy. 133 for 7 miles. Then, turn right onto 6th Street, and follow signs to the park.
